After graduation, he worked as a clerk for years, while developing his ideas in his spare time. Albert Einstein is widely acknowledged to be one of the greatest physicists of all time.
Bill Gates learned BASIC computer coding and wrote a simple game program by the time he was 13 years old. At 20 he had the idea to write friendly computer programs so that common people could use computers as well. It took years of hard work, but eventually, his idea made him one of the wealthiest people in the world.
Nelson Mandela grew up in a traditional rural African household and moved to Johannesburg to study. He worked at night to pay for his studies to become a lawyer. He became active in the struggle against racism, and emerged as the leader of the African people. He eventually became president of the new South Africa.
Barack Obama was born in Hawaii but lived in several counties as a child. His family was passionate about studies and education, and Barack followed in their footsteps. His years living overseas taught him the value of diverse people getting along with one another. With these values, he eventually became the president of the United States.
Oprah Winfrey had a tough childhood. As a child, she did interviews with her dolls. At school, she won an oratory contest and studied communication afterward. Her passion and empathy worked both for and against her, but she eventually was given the opportunity to do what she did best and became one of the most loved TV hosts of all time.
